The scientific committee invites ABSTRACTS for ICMU PAIN 2023 to be held at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, Bengaluru from 31st March – 3rd April 2023.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

ABSTRACTS must be submitted via this website. Faxed or emailed ABSTRACTS will not be considered. The last date for submission of ABSTRACTS is 15th February 2023.

  • ABSTRACTS should not have been presented earlier in any prior conferences
  • Abstracts Submitted must fall into one of the below categories :
    1. Newer USG scanning techniques
    2. Case report
    3. Regeneration therapy
    4. Any anatomical variant diagnosed by USG as a pain generator
    5. Others
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
  • The presenting author must be listed as the first author. This author will get a certificate as a presenting author.
  • Please note the submitting author will receive all correspondence about the abstract, hence we advise that the submitting author details that are entered are the same details as those of the presenting author.​
  • Please select a category for your abstract allocation. Although the committee will work hard to honour this choice, the committee reserves the right to change the category under which the abstract was originally submitted in case deemed necessary.
  • The final evaluation will be made by the Scientific Committee and the authors will be informed about the acceptance. The guidelines regarding the same will be then emailed to the authors of the accepted abstracts.
  • Registration at the time of submission is not mandatory. However, once the abstract is accepted the presenting author must register for the conference within 7 days. He/She can avail 10% discount at the registration fees prevailing at that time. In case the author fails to register in this time frame, the abstract will not be considered for presentation.
  • Your abstract is not successfully submitted until you receive a confirmation e-mail after clicking the final submit button. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please check your spam folder, and then write to us at abstract.icmupain2023@gmail.com
For the abstract submission, please keep the following information ready.
  • Abstract Category and Topic
  • Author and co-authors' details
  • Abstract title - limited to 20 words in UPPER CASE
  • Abstract text – limited to 250 words

(Please Note : Do not use any abbreviations in the abstract. Figures tables and graphs should not be included.)

  • Abstract layout - Abstracts must be submitted with the following sections :
    1. Aims/Objectives
    2. Materials & Methods
    3. Results
    4. Discussion
    5. Conclusions
    6. Key words – limited to 8 words

  • I confirm that I have previewed this abstract, and that all information is correct. I accept that the content of this abstract cannot be modified or corrected after final submission.
  • Submission of the abstract constitutes the consent of all authors to publication (e.g., Conference website, programs, other promotions, etc.)
  • I herewith confirm that the contact details saved in this system are those of the presenting author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The presenting author is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract.
  • I understand that the presenting author must be a registered delegate.
